On the farm
Spring has arrived – We are grafting fruit and walnut trees, maple sugaring and the turkey hens starting to lay eggs(far left egg). The sand hill cranes have been flying overhead for over a week now.
Ry has set up a 3 solar panel system which is charging all of our gadgets – cellphone, iPad and laptop this system will move down to his barn workshop for lights. The golf cart solar power plant is underway – the battery frame is being pulled out and replaced with a new one and batteries are in waiting and battery cables are being constructed. PAPER STUDIO
Alicia Bailey, abecedariangallery.com, has been working on a special artist book project in which she designed the paper and I made it happen.
The paper is now for sale on my website in the paper catalog called Bailey’s paper. It is a 12 x 18 cotton rag, sized and pigmented pink with a yellow flower design pulp stenciled on top OR same but instead of pink base sheet ochre. Both sheets run $8.00 each.
